"Yislamoo" is an elaborate way of saying thank you in Arabic. It translates to a prayer: “may you be safe from harm”, which is the individual’s way of returning the favor or gift on spot.
When Rasha Hamdan, Yislamoo's founder realized there is no such thing as contemporary Arabic greeting cards that were funny, quirky and truly representative of our beautiful Middle Eastern culture and it's signature sense of humor, she rolled up her sleeves and created 10 greeting cards that she felt she'd want to buy and give as a gift herself.
What began as a passion from a home based office has now spiraled into 250 unique designs and counting sold online around the world. Our designs became very popular and due to many requests, we are now producing them in English as well. It doesn't matter what language a Yislamoo card speaks, as long as it puts a smile on someone's face. How many times have you made someone smile today?
